Colman Commons is ready to light up the Downtown Seattle Art Walk this Friday, September 25th. This Friday evening is the public's final chance to experience the incredible works of Colman Commons’ inaugural Grand Opening artist cohort before new exhibitions take center stage.
A Celebration of Black Artists & Creative Placemaking
Under the leadership of Executive Director Ashleigh McCurdy and Creative Director Takiyah "TDUB" Ward, Colman Commons was established as a dedicated home for celebrating Black artists, amplifying community stories, and driving transformative creative placemaking across the Pacific Northwest.
