Taking place at the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute, this unforgettable evening will bring together community, culture, storytelling, and reflection as we celebrate 100 episodes of creating space for Black queer voices and experiences.
As Deaunte takes center stage for the season finale, he’ll reflect on the journey of We Live in Color, the incredible guests who have helped shape the platform, and the impact the show has made throughout its run.
Special Guests:
Christopher Livingston: Christopher Livingston is an accomplished actor, Seattle native, and proud Garfield High School graduate whose work spans television, film, and theater. He is perhaps best known for his powerful portrayal of Wayne Williams in Netflix’s acclaimed series Mindhunter, along with appearances in 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, and WeCrashed.
His film credits include Service to Man and Down Below, while his impressive stage career includes Broadway productions such as The Great Society and Birthday Candles.
A Seattle native and Garfield graduate, Christopher represents the kind of homegrown talent and storytelling that makes his journey especially meaningful. We’re excited to welcome him to We Live in Color to talk about his career, his roots, and the experiences that have shaped him as an artist.
Jaelynn Scott: Jaelynn Scott serves as Executive Director of the Lavender Rights Project, where she leads legal and social advocacy efforts supporting gender-diverse communities. She is also a candidate for the Washington State House of Representatives, representing the 37th Legislative District, Position 2.
